An impressive video of an unusual accident in Atlanta, in the American state of Georgia, went viral on social media last Sunday. The driver lost control of the vehicle on a curve near the on-ramp to the I-20/I-75/85 highways, hit the concrete central median and rolled over. With the impact, the car became suspended under Interstate 20, caught between concrete beams, while the driver was seen hanging with only his feet exposed outside the vehicle.
The scene attracted a crowd of onlookers who were trying to understand how that scenario had formed. Below the car, there was debris scattered everywhere. Rescue teams arrived quickly at the scene and found the driver in critical condition.
Fortunately, the driver managed to exit the vehicle safely and without the need for special equipment. He was then taken to a hospital in the region. According to police authorities, the driver did not suffer serious injuries in the accident.
