CBF announced a record valuation in the negotiation of Copa do Brasil broadcasting rights for the 2027 to 2030 cycle. The total amount agreed for the next four years is over R$ 4 billion, which represents an 80% increase compared to the current cycle. The negotiation also includes the broadcast of Supercopa from 2028 to 2031.

The 157 games of the competition will be broadcast on six different channels. On open TV, games will be shown by Globo. On pay TV, by Sportv and Premiere. On streaming, by Amazon Prime Video. And on YouTube, by GETV. A seventh package is still under negotiation but cannot be officially announced because it has not been finalized. According to the report, the package under negotiation involves ESPN.

The record in the negotiation of broadcasting rights should reflect in the prize money offered to participating clubs. CBF did not anticipate the amounts, which will be disclosed at the next club league meeting, on the 21st. The entity made a series of adjustments to Copa do Brasil for the next cycle.

Old iPhone models see price hikes of up to R$ 2 thousand. Understand the reason

Old iPhone models had price adjustments of up to 14.8% at the Apple Store, with increases of up to R$ 2,000, even after the launch of a new generation. The 1 TB iPhone Air went from R$ 13,499 to R$ 15,499, while other versions of the model increased by R$ 500. The reason is the shortage of memory and storage chips caused by high demand from artificial intelligence data centers, which raised global price indices for smartphones, tablets, and notebooks. This year, Apple did not launch a new Air generation, postponing the update to early 2027.
