IEFP opens applications for Apprenticeship+ courses in the Algarve

Applications are now open for the Apprenticeship+ courses promoted by the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP), aimed at young people up to 29 years old who have completed the 12th grade of schooling. The courses last approximately one year and allow the obtainment of level 5 professional qualification, based on a strong practical component and close connection to the business sector.

At the Professional Training Centre of Faro, in Areal Gordo, courses in Specialist Technician in Physical Exercise, Specialist Technician in Multimedia Product Development, and Specialist Technician in Accounting and Management will begin in October. In November, courses in Specialist Technician in Management Informatics Applications and Specialist Technician in Automation, Robotics, and Industrial Control will also start.

At the Training Hub of Loulé, in the CACE building – Business Incubator, in the Industrial Zone, the course in Specialist Technician in Event Organization and Public Relations is scheduled to begin in December. At the Training Hub of Vila Real de Santo António, the courses in Specialist Technician in Cybersecurity (October) and Specialist Technician in E-commerce (November) will be offered.

Trainees are entitled to a meal allowance, transport expense support, and a professionalization grant, awarded to participants who are not recipients of unemployment benefits. Applications can be made at IEFP offices or through the IEFP Online platform.
