Continente invested more than 40 million euros in Madeira in the last five years, between 2021 and 2026. This investment was destined for the expansion and renovation of the store park in the region, as well as for the reinforcement of convenience and digital solutions available to Madeiran consumers.
The numbers were revealed by João Pedro Santos, general director of Modelo Madeira, during his intervention at the IV Food Meeting of Madeira. This event also served to celebrate the 30 years of presence of Continente in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
During his intervention, the responsible also highlighted the consistent growth of the company in the region, evidencing the positive impact of these investments over the last decades.
