Closure of Loriga and Vide Health Poles generates concern and leads population to demonstrate

SAPO10 September 2026 at 15:17

The Health Poles of Loriga and Vide, both located in the municipality of Seia, are temporarily closed, generating great concern among local populations. This situation is affecting access to primary health care for the inhabitants of these localities.

In Loriga, the closure is scheduled for the period between September 7 and 18, leaving residents without access to local health services during that interval. The population of the town expressed their displeasure regarding this interruption of services.

Faced with the closure, the residents of Loriga organized a health vigil, with the aim of drawing the attention of authorities to the importance of health services in the region. The popular mobilization aims to press for the resolution of the situation and highlight the relevance of these poles for local communities.
