The Municipality of Angra do Heroísmo will promote, on September 26 and 27, three training actions aimed at coaches, managers, technicians and other agents linked to the sports sector. The training will take place at the Centro Cultural e de Congressos in Angra do Heroísmo and is part of the programming prepared by the Municipality within the scope of the European Week of Sport.
The three training actions are "Team Leadership", "Marketing Strategy for Sports Clubs" and "Sports Organization Management". On the 26th, the "Team Leadership" training will take place, led by Inês Vigário, in two sessions. On the 27th, José Carvalho will lead the marketing training in the morning and "Sports Organization Management" during the afternoon, also in two sessions each.
The three actions are accredited by the Federação do Desporto de Portugal, allowing participants to obtain training credits. Guido Teles, Vice-President of the Angra do Heroísmo City Council, stated that investing in the training of coaches, technicians and managers is giving them more tools to lead, manage and prepare their organizations, strengthening clubs and all sports in the municipality. Registrations are made through the website of the Federação do Desporto de Portugal.
