The Municipality of Benavente hosts on Sunday, September 13, a MAIS Lezíria Walk with a route of approximately eight kilometres through the riverside area of the town, natural heritage of Lezíria do Tejo. The activity starts at 9:30 AM.
Participation in the event is free and registrations are open, and can be made through a form provided by the organization.
The initiative is part of the MAIS Lezíria project, promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Lezíria do Tejo and its 11 associated municipalities, with the main objective of encouraging the practice of physical activity and the adoption of healthy lifestyles.
