Compromís will take to the next Plenary Session of the Castelló City Council an institutional declaration to request a Valencian Strategy for the Prevention and Management of Large Forest Fires. The political party wants to strengthen municipal measures against fire risk.

The initiative comes after a summer in which fire again affected different points of the Castelló regions, highlighting the need for a more structured and coordinated response.

The institutional declaration calls on the regional government to implement more robust preventive and management measures to face the large forest fires that have affected the region during the summer months.
