The Chega party delivered a request to initiate a Parliamentary Inquiry Committee (CPI) regarding Luís Neves on September 15. The request was submitted with minor changes compared to previous versions.

André Ventura's party argues that the president of the Assembly of the Republic should expedite the process so that the inquiry committee can begin functioning as quickly as possible.

The inquiry committee may investigate the actions of the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, covering presumptive actions or decisions within the scope of his governmental duties.

Chega has been demonstrating interest in this parliamentary investigation, having submitted the request with the modifications considered necessary before its formalization with the table of the Assembly of the Republic.
