Vila Franca das Naves receives 10th Harvest Festival

The Beira Serra Cooperative, in Vila Franca das Naves, in the municipality of Trancoso, hosts from September 11 to 13 the tenth edition of the Folklore and Harvest Festival. The event celebrates the traditions, wines, gastronomy and popular culture of the region. The program starts next Friday, September 11. The festival promises to be a tribute to local traditions and the wine activity of Beira Serra.

Ansião: Roman Forum Brings Santiago da Guarda Back to Imperial Times

The Monumental Complex of Santiago da Guarda, in Ansião, hosts another edition of the Roman Forum on September 12 and 13, an event promoted by the Municipality of Ansião that recreates the Roman era with two days of shows, processions, music, dance, arts and crafts, market and taverns. The program includes the "Legionary Patrol," Roman processions, a seminar on Roman heritage, coin minting demonstrations, acrobatics, "Taberníadas," fire shows and the "Romaníadas" with games among patricians.
