A fire destroyed a vacant dwelling next to Largo do Pioledo, on Rua Dona Margarida Chaves, in Vila Real. The incident mobilized two fire brigades during the early morning of this Thursday.

The alert was given around 04:30. When the first responders arrived at the location, the dwelling was already completely engulfed in flames, according to Orlando Matos, commander of the operations.

Man arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in Ponte de Lima
