Four men detained in Spain for group rape of one of their ex-girlfriends

Spanish National Police detained four men in Valencia, aged between 44 and 53, on suspicion of committing a group sexual assault. The men are suspected of having raped the ex-girlfriend of one of them.

The victim's ex-partner was also charged with a domestic abuse crime, in addition to his participation in the collective sexual assault. The investigation is being conducted by the Spanish authorities.

This case comes in a context of growing concern in Spain regarding gender-based violence crimes, which have led authorities to strengthen operations to combat this type of criminality.

Arrested for possession of prohibited weapons

The Territorial Command of Santarém, through the Coruche Territorial Post, arrested on September 9 a 53-year-old man for possession of prohibited weapons. The arrest came as a result of an investigation into domestic violence that had been ongoing for about two months, with a home search warrant being executed. The arrested person was brought before the Judicial Court of Santarém, being subject to a Statement of Identity and Residence. The operation was supported by military personnel from the Coruche Territorial Detachment and the Santarém Technical Support Unit.

MP-RJ denounces thirteen people involved in the death of a cyclist in Copacabana
