The Regional Government of the Azores concluded the hearings for the Region's Plan and Budget for 2027, after holding consultations with social and economic partners. During these meetings, social and economic partners called for more investment and financing for the coming year.
In the early afternoon of Wednesday, the president of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, met with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azores (CCIA) as part of these hearings.
The CCIA expressed its intention to obtain greater support for the private sector in the Region, representing the interests of Azorean businesses and industry before the Regional Executive.
These hearings are part of the process of preparing the Regional Budget for 2027, in which the Azorean Executive heard the main representative entities of the region's economic and social fabric.
