ECIU has 23 challenges with open applications

The ECIU University, of which the University of Aveiro is a member, currently offers 23 challenges with open applications. These challenges are part of an innovative educational offering that aims to transform the way higher education approaches learning.

The main objective of this initiative is to bring higher education closer to solving concrete everyday problems. Instead of focusing only on academic theory, the proposed challenges encourage students to apply their knowledge to real situations.

This educational model is part of a broader approach that seeks to connect academia with the effective needs of society, allowing students to develop practical skills while contributing to solving everyday issues.

Saudi Arabia carried out around 40 airstrikes against Yemen's Houthi rebels in the last few hours, after Houthi attacks on Saudi territory caused fires at oil facilities. The worsening of the conflict in the Middle East caused the price of Brent crude to exceed $102, the highest value since May.
