Madeira is among the Portuguese markets where the time of year has the greatest impact on how long home sale listings remain active. According to data from Imovirtual, released today, the difference between the season in which listings remain active for the shortest time and the season in which they stay active the longest reaches 79 days in the Region, more than two and a half months. This figure places Madeira on par with Portalegre and only below markets such as Bragança and Castelo Branco, where seasonality has an even greater impact on home sales.
