ANAFRE wants 9 ME for the parishes of the Region

The Regional Government of the Azores concluded the hearings for the Regional Plan and Budget for 2027, after a consultation process with social and economic partners. During these consultations, the partners expressed the need for more investment and financing for the next year.

On Wednesday, the president of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, met with ANAFRE, the association that represents the parishes of the region. At this meeting, ANAFRE presented its demands for the next budget.

ANAFRE requested from the Regional Government an amount of 9 million euros for the parishes of the Azores. This amount represents the main demands of the association in the budget negotiation for 2027.

The process of drafting the Regional Plan and Budget for 2027 is ongoing, with the regional executive analyzing the various requests received from different partners and regional organizations.
