The judge investigating the death of Isak Andic ordered the Mossos d'Esquadra to investigate the trip that his son Jonathan Andic made to Ecuador four months after the incident. Isak Andic fell down a cliff in Montserrat in December 2024, under circumstances that have not yet been clarified.
The case instructor, Raquel Nieto, from the Martorell court, issued a ruling in July asking agents to analyze the phone calls that Jonathan made in Quito during his stay.
Additionally, the judge requested that the credit card payments made by the suspect during his stay of only two days in Ecuador be examined.
Nieto also ordered that it be verified whether Jonathan Andic activated Apple's Find My iPhone application, which allows tracking a device in case of theft or loss. The newspaper El País first reported this information and EL PERIÓDICO was able to confirm it.
