The Municipality of Alpiarça received on Thursday, September 9, the teachers and education assistants from the José Relvas School Grouping at a welcome session that marked the beginning of the new school year. The reception took place at the Auditório da Casa dos Patudos and was attended by the Mayor of Alpiarça, Sónia Sanfona, who welcomed the professionals arriving at or returning to the schools of the municipality.
In the message addressed to the educational community, the mayor highlighted the responsibility associated with the teaching profession and the impact that teachers and educators can have on the journey of children and young people. "A new school year brings with it new challenges, new projects, new learning and, above all, new opportunities," said Sónia Sanfona.
The Mayor also highlighted the human dimension of teaching, arguing that behind every class, word, encouragement and gesture of confidence lies an opportunity to transform a life.
