An 11-year-old child was injured after falling at the Tahiti waterfall area in Gerês. The incident occurred during an activity in the area known for its waterfalls, popular among visitors to the region.
The victim was airlifted to the Local Health Unit of Braga, where she is already receiving medical care. The authorities were alerted to the incident and triggered the emergency response to assist the child.
The exact circumstances of the fall have not yet been fully clarified. The child, aged 11, suffered injuries that prompted the urgent air transfer to the hospital unit.
