An 11-year-old child was seriously injured after falling in the Tahiti waterfall area in Gerês. The accident occurred when the girl fell from a considerable height, resulting in serious injuries.
Due to the severity of the situation, emergency services had to intervene quickly. The child was ultimately transported by helicopter to Braga Hospital, where she received specialized medical care.
Gerês, located in northern Portugal, is a region known for its waterfalls and natural trails, attracting many visitors. The Tahiti waterfall area is one of the popular tourist spots in the Peneda-Gerês National Park area.
