Angola invested approximately 99 billion dollars, equivalent to 85.1 billion euros, in the oil sector during the last nine years. This investment represents a significant commitment from the Angolan government in the development of the country's oil industry.
During this nine-year period, 38 exploration wells were drilled. From these wells, 16 discoveries of petroleum resources resulted, which represents a relevant success rate in exploration operations.
The information was made public today, providing concrete data on the performance of Angola's oil sector. Angola is one of the main oil producers in Africa, and these numbers demonstrate the continuity of efforts to maintain and expand oil production in the country.
