AGU is who will provide information about Andrei Rodrigues to Fachin

oglobo9 September 2026 at 22:32

The Federal Attorney General's Office (AGU) will be responsible for presenting information about the performance of the Federal Police director-general, Andrei Rodrigues, to Minister Edson Fachin, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF). Fachin made this decision in an order this Wednesday.

The minister annulled both the removal from office of Andrei Rodrigues, which had been determined at the request of Minister André Mendonça by the STF Second Panel, and the preliminary injunction granted by Minister Flávio Dino that determined the immediate integration of the Federal Police director-general.

In the same decision, Fachin established a 48-hour deadline for Andrei Rodrigues to present clarifications about the situation. The matter was exclusive access for subscribers.
