Fachin suspends procedure opened by Gonet to investigate police officers who made report on messages from Vorcaro to Moraes

The president of the Supreme Federal Court, Edson Fachin, suspended on Wednesday the External Control of Police Activity procedure that aimed to investigate the conduct of the federal police delegates and agents who produced the report on the dozens of messages sent by banker Daniel Vorcaro to Justice Alexandre de Moraes.

The procedure had been opened by the Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet, and sought to investigate the conduct of the police officers responsible for the report that documented the messages exchanged between Vorcaro and Moraes.

With Fachin's decision, the procedure is suspended, temporarily interrupting the investigations about the actions of the federal police officers in preparing the document related to the messages.
