The Cais da Ferradosa, in São João da Pesqueira, hosts on Saturday, September 12, the third edition of Douro Valley – São João da Pesqueira Open Water, an open water swimming competition.
The event is expected to gather around 200 participants who will compete in the waters of the Douro River. The initiative will feature two different races, allowing swimmers of different experience levels to participate.
The competition program starts at 2:30 PM, offering participants and spectators the opportunity to enjoy a privileged natural setting in the heart of the wine-producing Douro region.
