CDS congratulates athletes and Portuguese delegation at the Mediterranean Games - Taranto 2026

The CDS-PP Parliamentary Representation in the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, led by deputy Sara Madalena, submitted a Vote of Congratulations to recognize the performance of athletes and officials with connections to the Region who were part of the Portuguese delegation at the XX Mediterranean Games.

The event took place in Taranto, Italy, in its 2026 edition. The Mediterranean Games are a multi-sport competition that brings together athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.

The vote of congratulations specifically aims to greet all Madeiran athletes and officials who participated in this edition of the Games, recognizing their performances and contributions to the Portuguese delegation.

The document was submitted by deputy Sara Madalena, on behalf of the CDS-PP parliamentary representation in the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
