Carlos Perdigão Santos, executive director of Porto Santo Line, announced that the Sousa Group is available to analyze and compete in a future international tender for the ferry operation between Madeira and the mainland. According to Perdigão Santos, the company is "absolutely available" to analyze the proposed program and package, provided that the necessary economic viability conditions for the operation are met.
Porto Santo Line's availability comes in the context of a potential international tender that has not yet been launched, but which is expected to be organized by the public authorities. The director stated that the company intends to evaluate the program when it is launched, considering the financing that the Central or Regional State may decide to present.
