ANSUB is preparing the technical dossier to request the Protected Geographical Indication for Alcácer Pine Nuts. The association revealed that the future area covered by the certification should be much larger than the municipality of Alcácer do Sal. The dossier will be presented to the European Commission for official recognition. This is an initiative by ANSUB within the scope of promoting Portuguese regional products.
