At Least 54 Professionals Expelled from Mozambique's Health System in 2025

Mozambique's Minister of Health revealed today that at least 54 professionals were expelled from the country's health system during the year 2025. The expulsions occurred due to misconduct committed in the health sector.

The official promised to adopt a posture of "firm hand" and "zero tolerance" regarding these infractions. The minister also warned that there will be no "mercy" for professionals who commit this type of violation in Mozambique's health system.

"Condor" Tuna Boat to Transport Nossa Senhora da Piedade

The "Condor" tuna boat was chosen, by lottery, to transport the image of Nossa Senhora da Piedade during the traditional festivities in her honor.
