Images show moment Israeli attack hits refugee camp in Gaza

An explosion hit the Shati refugee camp in the Gaza Strip this Wednesday. The attack caused at least nine injured among the civilian population of the camp.

Images spread on social media show the moment the explosion occurs, capturing the violence of the attack against the residential area.

Several residents of the Shati camp stated they received warning calls before the attack. These prior threats were not sufficient to prevent the explosion and injuries among civilians.

The Shati refugee camp is one of the oldest and most populous in the Gaza Strip, where thousands of Palestinians live in difficult conditions due to the prolonged conflict in the region.
