Caged and without hygiene conditions: around 70 animals rescued from house in Setúbal

TVI Notícias9 September 2026 at 14:54

Around 70 animals were rescued from a dwelling in Setúbal, where they were found in deplorable conditions. The animals lived confined to the space of their cages, without freedom of movement.

The rescued animals include dozens of dogs, cats, birds and other small animals, who shared the same cramped and unsanitary space.

The conditions of the dwelling were marked by lack of sanitation, which put at risk the health and well-being of all the animals found at the location.

The rescue was carried out with the objective of removing the animals from that inadequate environment and ensuring the necessary care for their recovery and future.
