The Feiras Novas in Ponte de Lima officially kick off today, in a historic edition that celebrates 200 years of history and tradition. This edition holds added significance as it commemorates two hundred years of festivities in honor of Nossa Senhora das Dores, reinforcing the pride in traditions passed down from generation to generation.
The pilgrimage runs until September 14, promising six days full of music, folklore and popular entertainment. The complete program of the event is available on the website of the Municipality of Ponte de Lima.
The festivities begin today with the Arruada das Concertinas at 9:30 PM, followed by the Festive Lighting at 10:30 PM, with entertainment throughout the night.
