Braga celebrates Afro-descent for two days with music, cinema and debates

The city of Braga hosted on September 11 and 12 a festival dedicated to celebrating Afro-descent. The event brought together diverse cultural expressions over two days, including music, cinema and debates.

The festival explored the duality between "the culture that is received" and "the reality that is built", establishing a reflection on Afro-descendant cultural heritage and its contemporary expressions.

The program activities included film screenings, musical concerts and discussion sessions, promoting dialogue about the presence and contribution of Afro-descendant culture.

Cherovia returns to the center of Covilhã
