Finnish influencer Olivia Oras, 27, died on September 3 after feeling ill during preparations for an aesthetic procedure at a private clinic in Helsinki, Finland. According to information from American magazine People, a family representative stated that Olivia died after a "botched aesthetic procedure."
The influencer's parents, artist Johanna Oras and art dealer Reijo Oras, told the Finnish public broadcaster Yle that their daughter lost consciousness during the administration of anesthesia, even before the procedure was performed. Olivia was then rushed and taken to Helsinki University Hospital, where her death was confirmed.
Finnish police opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the death. The family filed a police report and sought out authorities for the case to be clarified, seeking to understand what caused the young woman's death during anesthesia.
