GNR arrests 'Spider-Man' responsible for 11 robberies, in Almada

Now9 September 2026 at 13:32

The Setúbal Territorial Command of the GNR arrested a man known as "Spider-Man", suspected of having committed 11 robberies in the Almada area. The individual was identified and located by the GNR, which developed the investigation that led to his capture.

The main characteristic that earned him the nickname was his great physical agility, which allowed him to climb walls with ease. He used this ability to enter the targeted locations through windows, thus avoiding the main entrances and any type of break-in.

The authorities managed to collect sufficient evidence to link the suspect to the crimes committed, which occurred over an unspecified period. The man was presented to the competent authorities to be charged for the crimes he is suspected of.
