Justice Flavio Dino granted an injunction ordering the immediate reinstatement of Andrei Rodrigues as director-general of the Federal Police, as well as the reinstatement of Leandro Almada as director of police intelligence. The decision was made on an urgent basis.
The measure taken by Dino goes against the decision of Justice Andre Mendonca, who had ordered the removal of the two delegates the previous day. Dino considered that there are serious procedural flaws in the decision made by his colleague.
With this decision, both directors must immediately return to their positions at the Federal Police, reversing the effects of the previous determination that had removed them from their posts.
