Water. Government requests solution for water supply to the south bank

The Portuguese Government requested from Águas de Portugal and the Portuguese Environment Agency a technical solution to reinforce water supply to the south bank of the Tagus. The two entities have 120 days to present a proposal.

The reinforcement of water supply aims to guarantee water for both the population of the south bank and the new airport. The technical solution should explore as water source the Tagus River or the Castelo de Bode Dam.
