Miranda do Corvo, a municipality in Coimbra district, wants to establish itself as the "paradise" for families, being just 20 minutes from the city of Coimbra. This ambition was expressed by the president of the City Hall, who leads the PSD/CDS coalition.
The current president was chosen to lead the candidacy after the death of the candidate initially selected by the party. This situation led him to assume leadership of the municipal race under exceptional circumstances.
The mayor has been developing a strategy to attract families to the territory, taking advantage of the proximity to Coimbra and the advantages of living in a quieter area with more accessible costs.
The vision for Miranda do Corvo focuses on creating conditions that encourage families to settle in the municipality, offering quality of life without the costs associated with larger urban centers.
