El Periódico Mediterráneo - General9 September 2026 at 10:15

More than 98,000 general education students from the province of Castellón officially started the school year this Wednesday. The beginning was marked by nerves, joy and some tears, especially for the youngest who joined the educational system for the first time. The morning went smoothly in a staggered manner to welcome the new students. A mother, at the entrance of an educational center in the capital of Plana, stated that she had taken time off work to be with her daughter on this special first day. For students in higher grades, the day was a reunion with their classmates. A father mentioned that his son in second year of primary school was already eager to return and see his friends.
