On September 25th, at 9:00 PM, the Chapel of the Ducal Palace in Vila Viçosa hosts the recital "Choros, Tangos and Sassetti," bridging Brazilian music, Argentine tango, and the work of Portuguese composer Bernardo Sassetti. The concert, part of the Concert Season of the Casa de Bragança Foundation, will be performed by violinist Daniel Bolito and pianist Philippe Marques, featuring works by Ernesto Nazareth, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Astor Piazzolla, Igor Stravinsky, and Sassetti himself. The musical proposal establishes a dialogue between different traditions and geographies, exploring energetic rhythms, evocative harmonies, and dancing sonorities, with percussion effects, improvisation, and auxiliary instruments. Entry is free.
