More than 60 kilos of marijuana distributed by postal mail discovered in Castellón

The Guardia Civil and officials of the Tax Agency's Customs Surveillance Service seized more than 60 kilos of marijuana in Vinaròs that was being distributed through postal mail. The operation was carried out by the Guardia Civil's Fiscal Analysis and Information Unit in collaboration with the Customs Surveillance Service.

As a result of the intervention, one person was arrested and a second person was cited as investigated. Both are suspected of the alleged commission of a smuggling offense and an offense against public health.

The operation took place in Vinaròs, a municipality located in the province of Castellón, in the Valencian Community, a region located in the eastern part of Spain.
