"Courage and solidarity" facing losses of 14.5 million euros

Secretary of State Silvério Regalado spoke about the need for courage and solidarity in the face of losses of 14.5 million euros recorded in the municipality. The government official acknowledged the significant impact of the damage in the region.

The municipal executive submitted 373 applications to the available support mechanisms to address the situation. So far, approximately 12 million euros have been approved to support those affected.

The authorities highlight the collective effort of the local community as a response to the catastrophe. The amount already approved represents a substantial portion of the total estimated losses.
