Over 5,100 people remain missing after devastating floods in Nepal, 14 days after the disaster. Nepalese authorities reported that 5,133 people remain missing, including 587 foreign tourists. The torrent of ice, water and rocks swept through vast areas of the north and center of the country.
The latest toll from the National Authority for Disaster Management and Risk Reduction indicates that 1,367 bodies and remains have been recovered in the 15 municipalities declared priority disaster zones. Only 102 dead have been handed over to families so far.
