Auto Viação Feirense was the selected company to operate the new intermunicipal transport network in Alto Minho, under the third international public tender launched for this purpose. The company won the international tender to secure this transport service in the region.
The new network will connect the ten municipalities of the Viana do Castelo district, covering the entire Alto Minho area. The contract represents a significant investment in intermunicipal mobility in the region, allowing inhabitants of the various municipalities a more efficient connection between localities.
Auto Viação Feirense has a fleet of 100 buses to ensure the operation. The company plans to begin operations gradually this year, with the goal of reaching full capacity by mid-2027, when the service will be fully implemented.
