The United Kingdom accused Israeli settlers of practicing ethnic cleansing and announced the imposition of sanctions against these groups.
Simultaneously, twelve countries, including Portugal, announced on Tuesday the intention to introduce national-level restrictions.
These countries also expressed support for European measures aimed at limiting trade in goods from Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
