Donald Trump said he spoke with Vladimir Putin to discuss the end of the conflict in Ukraine and declared that a possible end to the war could restore relations between the United States and Russia. The call, which lasted an hour, occurred on Tuesday, two days after Washington resumed the negotiation process about the war on the European continent, which has already lasted four and a half years.
According to Russian presidential advisor Yuri Ushakov, Trump would have pointed out that political and economic ties between the two countries would be completely restored after the end of the conflict. The Kremlin representative stated that, at the end of the call, the Republican would have said that the end of the war would immediately open impressive and long-term prospects for relations to be fully restored.
