Ebola: WHO warns that the virus remains "out of control" in the DRC

The World Health Organization warned that the Ebola virus remains "out of control" in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This warning comes at a critical moment for the country, which is facing one of the largest outbreaks of the disease.

The geographical spread of the outbreak covers six provinces of the country, with a total area of approximately 630 thousand square kilometers. This vast territorial expanse significantly hinders containment and epidemic response efforts.
