North Korea inaugurated the first road bridge over its border with Russia, which opened this Monday and should allow the circulation of up to 300 vehicles per day. This connection, which crosses the Tumen River, is considered a physical but also very symbolic bridge between the two countries.
The new infrastructure joins other railway and air connections already existing between North Korea and Russia, representing an unprecedented road connection between the two neighbors.
