Nélio Freitas, president of the Municipal Assembly of Ponta do Sol, expressed "deep appreciation" to the PSP officers serving in that location. The praise was made during the solemn session commemorating the 525 years of the municipality, where the official highlighted the professionalism demonstrated by the officers.
Freitas acknowledged that the officers work in "minimum conditions" at the provisional police station, but considered that this limitation has not affected the quality of the police service provided daily. The president of the Municipal Assembly stated that, thanks to the officers' work, the population can feel safe.
"In your hands, we are always in good hands," declared Nélio Freitas, evidencing the trust placed in the corporation. The official took the opportunity to attribute the low crime rates recorded in the municipality to the work carried out by the PSP.
