The Chega party presented a motion of censure to the government, but ended up being the only one to vote in favor of its own initiative. This motion was rejected in the assembly.

Luís Montenegro, the prime minister, took advantage of the parliamentary debate on the motion of censure to make announcements about social and fiscal measures. During his speech, he revealed a new bonus for pensioners.

The new Quaest research for the government of Rio de Janeiro, released this Tuesday, places former mayor Eduardo Paes (PSD) in isolated leadership with 39% of voting intentions.
