Ponta do Sol prepares over half a million euros to support families

The Ponta do Sol City Council announced a new municipal package of support for education, birth rates, and families, with an estimated investment of over half a million euros. The announcement was made by Rui Marques during the solemn session of Municipality Day.

The new Municipal Regulation for Education and Birth Rate Support should come into force by the end of the year. Among the measures planned is a monthly payment of 30 euros per child up to five years of age.

The regulation also includes complementary co-payments for nursery expenses, as well as study grants of 1,100 euros for students. These measures aim to support families of the municipality at different stages of school life and children's development.

The new Quaest research for the government of Rio de Janeiro, released this Tuesday, places former mayor Eduardo Paes (PSD) in isolated leadership with 39% of voting intentions.
